The 3nd Annual Autism Cares Foundation Auction and Gala

2011 was a banner year for the Autism Cares Foundation. We are thrilled to announce that we provided “100” activities, events and programs for children and young adults on the autism spectrum and their families!  This was more than twice what we did in 2010.  In total over 3,000 people with autism (all events combined), participated in these events and suggests that our programs are a hit with the autism community and a necessary offering making it clear that our services are greatly needed and appreciated. That’s why we need your help!

Our goal is to continue to expand our offerings, and take the next steps towards our long-term vision by raising funds for the creation of a comprehensive Autism Resources Center to serve Bucks County and area communities.  The Autism Cares Foundation Resources Center would be used for our popular recreational events – and include many more services to assist families, including life and work skills development, a respite center, and continuing care facilities.

This year, we’re holding the Gala at Williamson, Horsham, PA. Tickets for this black tie optional event are $125 per person. The evening will feature a cocktail hour with butlered hors d’oeuvres, a sit down dinner, and dancing to music by local artist Bill Monaghan.  The fund-raising activities will include a “silent auction” and a live auction during the dinner.

We plan on auctioning off some amazing prize packages – including vacations, tickets to sports and entertainment events, jewelry, golf outings, and much more. If you can help in this regard, please let us know as we want to make the silent and live auctions truly exciting!
